How does the CAG Board of Directors work?
CAG is a not-for-profit organization that is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Board of Directors are elected by the members of CAG for an initial one year term (from the date of their appointment to the next Annual General Meeting) with the option to renew for two additional two year terms.
CAG Board of Directors are elected to the board without a specific position and elected members of the board determine the positions that each person will occupy.
The CAG Board of Directors meets bi-monthly on the last Tuesday of the month, and holds an Annual General Meeting (AGM) which is typically held in November of each year.
The CAG Board of Directors hires the CAG Executive Director, who is responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations of the organization.
